Pathfinders

On this page, you will find the tracks that are specially planned for the Pathfinder leaders. With four track options, you will attend your training with the promise of a certificate at the end. Tracks are described below.

Basic Staff Training

In this track, you will learn what you need to know in order to be a successful Pathfinder staff member.

10:15 a.m.

Conflict Resolution is something we must be familiar and well versed in. Join the rest of the convention attendees in Terry Haws C as Stan Patterson shares with us.

2:15 p.m.

Involving Children and Youth in Mission. You'll find this track in Coborn, part of the Herberger suite. The Children's ministry leaders will be joining us for this one.

3:15 p.m.

Programming and Planning. You'll find this track in Coborn, part of the Herberger suite.

4:15 p.m.

Basic Drill Instruction. You'll find this track in Coborn, part of the Herberger suite.

5:15 p.m.

Adolescent Development. You'll find this track in Coborn, part of the Herberger suite.

6:30 p.m.

Health and Safety. You'll find this track in Coborn, part of the Herberger suite.

Instructor Training

In this track, you will learn what you need to know in order to be a successful Pathfinder instructor.

9:15 a.m.

How to disciple young people with Dan Masloski. You'll find this track in Fandel, part of the Herberger suite. Youth ministry leaders will be joining us for this one.

10:15 a.m.

Secretary/Treasurer Training

In this track, you will learn what you need to know in order to be successful as the secretary and/or treasurer for the Pathfinder club.

9:15 a.m.

Handling Finances. You'll find this track in Marsh, part of the Herberger Suite.

10:15 a.m.

Stewardship with Gayln Bowers. You'll find this track in Board Room A.

Child Protection Training with Bianca Madanat from Adventist Risk Management. You'll find this track in Marsh, part of the Herberger suite. Others will likely be joining us for this.

5:15 p.m.

Forms: Health, Medical Permissions, Safety & Vehicles. You'll find this in Marsh, part of the Herberger suite.

6:30 p.m.
